Born and raised in Alexandria, LA, I am the oldest of three. I am a graduate of Louisiana State University, Northwestern State University and Houston Community College with degrees in Criminal Justice and Human Resource Management.
I am a mother of two gorgeous adult children, Kaniecia & Kaylon. Kaniecia, my gorgeous princess is currently in school for nursing. Not only do we look alike but she has most of my traits, good and bad. Kaylon is my handsome prince who is the jokester of the family. This kid never turns down. He is always full of energy and playing around. They both certainly keep life entertaining for me.
I have a love for event planning that started after I planned my 5-year wedding renewal. I’ve had the pleasure of planning some of the most beautiful weddings, galas, fashion shows, company launches, and workshops. I’ve had a full-service event planning company for 9 years. I recently rebranded my company and only do event management under the name of The LM Experience.
A few years ago, I went through a divorce that caused me to lose my home, my car, all my money and I was homeless. I was in a bad state and wanted to kill myself. I was over life and wanted the pain to end. My Pastor gave me a book that literally saved my life. That was nothing but God! After that, my faith in God was renewed and my life restored. As a struggled to get my life back on track, God began to do a new thing in me. My passion for Him was ignited and I wanted to help others. I’m passionate about people and helping them restore their faith in God and themselves.
