LM: Tell me a little bit about yourself.
TJ: I am an author and poet. I write about anything that comes to mind really. The majority of my writings are Christ-centered as I am Christ oriented with my Christ-given gifts.

LM: Tell us about your business.
TJ: I have a blog, an IG page, a YouTube, a Twitter, and a book currently out on Amazon.com. My business is the promotion of Christ filled encouragement and practical living. I want to help fill the space between who I used to be and who I will become.

LM: What prompted you to start your business?
TJ: My faith helped prompted me to begin the blog and the slew of other pages. I already have the blog spot for my poetry in 2007 but when I began to dig deeper into my faith I revamped.

LM: Have you always aspired to be an entrepreneur? Why or why not?
TJ: I have always been inspired to write. I have always wanted to encourage others. I’ve just finally worked out how that should look for my everyday life.

LM: What’s the best part of being an entrepreneur?
TJ: Being creatively free.

LM: What’s the worst part of being an entrepreneur?
TJ: Having to hold yourself accountable.

LM: Who’s your inspiration?
TJ: I cannot pinpoint one person in particular. God has blessed me to be surrounded by so many different types of creatives.

Being a mother
Working in part of my purpose by teaching.

LM: Name a time when things didn’t go right. What happened and how did you get past it?
TJ: I had a performance recently and I forgot half my poem. I trusted God and He spoke through me. He filled in the gaps. And no one noticed.

LM: Where do you see your business in 3 years?
TJ: I see myself being able to reach out to millions of people showing them who God is and how He works in each of our lives.

LM: What advice would you give a new entrepreneur?
TJ: Find your peace and foundation and keep pushing through.
