Tell us a little about yourself and what you do.
My name is Taneshia Johnson, I currently work as a social worker for the Welfare Department in San Francisco, Ca. I have been working with single adults and families for 18 years. Helping people learn how to navigate their life and live the life they desire has always been a dream and goal of mine.
Tell us a little about yourself and what you do.
Growing up my mother was a single parent. As I watched her make ends meet every month for me and her, I knew she and I deserved more. I wanted to learn how to help other single-parent homes find resources they need such as housing and food to decrease stress on the parent and the child. I guess you could say I had a niche early on for wanting to help others.
What’s your most proud moment?
My most proud moment is when I wrote my book. It felt so freeing to finally tell my story, and do it in a way that was honest and transparent, that could also help others.
What’s next for you?
Next for me, is another book! I am actually working on it now. I also have officially become a blogger. I am really enjoying writing and hoping I can help others through their journey of healing through my writing.
