Meet Takesha Pratt, owner, and operator of Trip Spice Travel Agency. My girl holds a Master’s Degree in business from Tennessee State University and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority INC. She is a boy mom of two and wife of 14 years to her high school sweetheart. Just recently she landed her dream job as a Flight attendant for my favorite airline, Delta Airlines.

How does it feel to be a black woman during this time?
I am proud to be a black woman who has no other choice but to persevere and survive. I am honored to see so many black women doing things that they once were prohibited to do.

What does Women History Month mean to you? *
The month we honor women for their great accomplishments and achievements.

What prompted you to start your business or brand?
My business was started to help more Black people obtain passports to travel the world and to show Black families traveling is affordable with the right travel expert planning their Vacation.

What has been your greatest achievement?
Signing a 6 figure travel contract after being in the business for less than a year.

What advice would you give a new woman entrepreneur?
Stick with the race. There will be bumps on the road to success but never give up. Pivot but don’t give up. Bend but don’t Brake.
