Milan Mobley is a full-time Serial Entrepreneur from Washington, D.C. now residing in Atlanta, GA. She is a graduate of Bowie State University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Relations. In 2017 she obtained her Masters of Professional Studies degree in Strategic Public Relations from The George Washington University. Milan holds her Certification in Entrepreneurship Essentials from The Harvard University Business School Online.
She’s the founder and CEO of Umanagement Strategic Communications and Public Relations Agency, the founder and creator of the Women EntrepreneuHERs brunch and the host of the popular international podcast – “Your Bossiest Friend: Podcast.”
At the age of twenty-one, Milan started her journey into Entrepreneurship by the age of twenty-five she had become a three-time business owner. Prior to becoming a full-time entrepreneur she worked at the United States Department of Agriculture for seven years. After those seven years, Milan took a leap of faith at the young age of Twenty-Three and became self-employed in August of 2017, after being a business owner of only two years.

I do so much lol, but I’ve become very specific lately in my wording. So I help women create profitable 6-figure brands… through my public Relations Agency Umanagement I help entertainment + small businesses + Corporate entities establish credibility longevity and success through unique communications strategies.. and through the women Entrepreneuhers brunch I educate + Prepare entrepreneuHERs around the world to grow & Sustain Profitable Business.

My Public Relations Agency is – Umanagement Strategic Communications and Public Relations. I started this company in 2015 – 5 years later we have served clients on a global level. Our sectors consist of – Lifestyle, Corporate, and entertainment. We specialize in strategic communications, Public relations, marketing, branding, and social media.
The Women EntreprenuHERs Brunch is – a platform designed for current and aspiring entrepreneurs, as well as women in business. The mission of the EntrepreneuHERs brunch is to create an environment for women of various levels of business and entrepreneurship to network and grow their net worth, become further educated on entrepreneurship and business by the hand-selected speakers and panels, and lastly, to leave inspired by the women they’ve encountered. Traditionally the
EntrepreneuHERs Brunch is held in the month of March in honor of Women’s History Month.
My personal brand which holds my podcast, youtube channel, books and more – is where I help women become more clear on their purpose in order for them to build profitable 6-figure brands and monetize their expertise.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Honestly, retired lol. I’ll be 32 in 5 years that means I’ve worked 11 hard years as an entrepreneur by this point, I need to see the fruits of my labor. Hiring employees so I can just have my companies has always been the goal. But of course, me being me I can’t retire, retire – but I’d love to travel the world with my wife and kids, being a public speaker and best-selling author. All while making some life- long investments for my legacy.
Discuss a challenge you’ve encountered as an entrepreneur and how you overcame it.
Saying no was a big challenge and negotiating your price. Sometimes you are scared to ask your price because you may think its too much. But if that’s what your value is and your worth then ASK. When people ask well can we negotiate this price the answer is NO your price is your price. People don’t go into the Louis Vuitton store asking for price negotiation.
What’s next for Milan?
Ah so much, I am expanding my cooking brand – if you know me you know I love cooking! I’ve revamped so many aspects of all of my brands. It is honestly a sit back and wait and see type of thing because there’s so much about to happen! I know that I am so close to everything that God has in store for me – It is grind season.
