LaDonna Marie’s lasts accomplishments in 2020 where she was selected as Top 30 influential women: Movers and Shakers in K.I.S.H Magazine, and awarded Top 50 Women in Business by Black Women’s Expo. In 2019 She was nominated as Faith-Based Speaker of the Year at Speaker Con and received a Mississippi Success Award. LM: Tell me a little bit about yourself.
LC: I love empowering and encouraging others to be the best version of themselves.

LM: Tell us about your business.
LC: I started writing to empower and encourage others to overcoming obstacles. As God helped to heal me and I overcame my own adversities I was able to create inspirational books that meet readers where they are.
The purpose of Planting Positive Seeds is to empower, encourage, and motivate young women and girls to live a positive life through community outreach. Funds-solicited will be used to facilitate programming, workshops, training, and outreach events.

LM: What prompted you to start your business?
LC: My desire to help individuals heal, and grow in personal development.

LM: Have you always aspired to be an entrepreneur? Why or why not?
LC: Yes, I want to write a book that was read and impacted the lives of others all over the world.

LM: What’s the best part of being an entrepreneur?
LC: Meeting new customers and readers, conversing with them about the books.

LM: Who’s your inspiration? Why?
LC: Jesus is my inspiration, I aspire to love others as He did, and help them be who they were born to be.

LM: Name a time when things didn’t go right. What happened and how did you get past it?
LC: I’m resilient so most of the time, I adjust and keep moving.

LC: I see myself writing movie scripts and plays for my books.

LM: What advice would you give a new entrepreneur?
LC: I would tell all entrepreneurs to get started, research, learn, and not to procrastinate
