Kei LaGuins is a Writer, Director, Actress, Producer, and Singer who is also the CEO of her own company, Kei LaGuins Productions. Kei LaGuins is also a screenwriter, playwright, songwriter, actress, movie producer, casting director, model, and a journalist. She has done voiceover for Dee Hill Morning Show. She has written articles for Big in Da Street Magazine.
As a singer/songwriter Kei has many female artist influences from Pop, R&B, Neo Soul, and Gospel. Kei has developed her own unique sound of music. A style comprises of R&B and Pop with her new single Tell Me. Kei is Ambitious and very determined and refuses to restrict herself to just one avenue of the Entertainment industry.
Kei LaGuins Productions was established on December 1st, 2014 after doing her first stage play in October. Kei LaGuins Productions sought deals with film, music, TV, plays, and a fashion line. Other projects included the film, ‘Eternal Game’ as the Assistant Director and Script Supervisor. Kei also got her first role as a police officer in the web-series ‘Ambition’ that followed with some short films and work on a feature film.
Kei has her own clothing line shirts Kei LaGuins Productions shirts and she’s starting her own magazine and other entertainment avenues. Kei has sponsored several events from music, film, and charities. Kei is in several magazines in Atlanta. Kei LaGuins is well known in the entertainment industry.

LM: Tell me a little bit about yourself.
KL: I am the brand ambassador and Vice President of Marketing for “The R Report Magazine”. I am also in SwagHer Magazine. I am a screenwriter, film producer, and casting director.

LM: Tell us about your business.
KL: Kei LaGuins Productions LLC was established on Dec 1st, 2004. I started off creating stage plays before I went into movies. I later discovered and started putting on local comedians and started doing comedy shows for the audience and then started putting on music events for local talent like singers, rappers, and poetry artists to help get their name out there. I’ve sponsored multiple music events and comedy shows, film events, and film festivals. I have my own wine “Kei Wine” along with T-Shirts called Kei LaGuins Productions. My movie “When A Woman Loves A Man” is on Amazon Prime and Tubi tv and it’s on PKCE.tv/keitv. My stage play “When A Man Loves A Women” was shown in Atlanta.

LM: What prompted you to start your business?
KL: I always aspired to be an entrepreneur and decided to take action.

LM: Have you always aspired to be an entrepreneur? Why or why not?
KL: Yes, I always wanted to have my own business because I wanted to leave a legacy for my kids.

LM: What’s the best part of being an entrepreneur?
KL: Being a go-getter a boss.

LM: What’s the worst part of being an entrepreneur?
KL: I don’t have a worst part. I always make the best of things

LM: Who’s your inspiration? Why?
KL: My mother is my inspiration along with my kids and sisters.

LM: List some of your greatest achievements.
KL: Some of my greatest achievements was when my movie “4 hours”, won best action film and when my movie “When A Woman Loves A Man” was on Amazon Prime. “4 hours” was also on The OnPoint Network and “When a Women Loves a Man” was on PKCE.tv/radio. I was in several magazines Rhythmic Lounge Magazine, The R Report, Swagher magazine, Big in Da Street Magazine, The Art of Hustle Magazine, The Hemp hop magazine, The orange magazine, and XS10 Magazine.

LM: Name a time when things didn’t go right. What happened and how did you get past it?
KL: When I first started out, planning didn’t go as I expected that’s why it is always important to have a backup plan, at the time some people backed away at the last minute. In order to get past it, I started planning ahead and created a strong relationship with my team and as time went on everything started working out.

LM: Where do you see your business in 3 years?
KL: Global and International.

LM: What advice would you give a new entrepreneur?
KL: Keep God first. Never give up and keep pushing.
