Candace is a mom, marketer, and strategist, who fled Corporate employee life, with her identity, time and talent in hand and is on a mission to help other side hustling women do the same.
She talks and coaches marketing strategy, full-time entrepreneurship transition, and balancing family life. All the things we encounter on this journey to make a #biggerimpact beyond the walls of a 9-to-5.
Having led marketing campaigns for fortune 500 companies like GE, she is now the founder and CEO of Floor23, a digital marketing agency driving business growth with a focus in the real estate industry.
She is also the host of the top-rated podcast, Ambition, Honey & Hustle, helping part-time entrepreneurs go full-time through stories, strategy, and motivation.

Tell us a little about yourself and what you do.
I’m a mom of 3, wife to 1, #growth hacker to marketing clients in the real estate industry and coach to #mompreneurs who desire to make the part-time to full-time entrepreneurship transition.

Why are you so passionate about helping others get out of corporate?
Our talents and abilities should never have limits. For those of us, who know that we have so many ideas and so much value to unleash on the world, some times it’s easy to lose our identity. We apply our ideas to the visions of others then turn around and allow our talent to be boxed and never fully impact the lives we were meant to touch. All because we’re busy spending our time in conformance to someone else’s rules of the road. “Someone is waiting for you to provide them a solution,” that’s a statement I love and is why I give so much energy to helping true entrepreneurs make their 9 to 5 exit.

What advice would you give to a struggling entrepreneur?
First, look closely at how you’re spending your time. Are you giving the right attention to revenue-generating activities, every single day? It’s easy to waste time on things that don’t directly impact sales in our business, i.e. deciding that you need to take an afternoon to remodel your office, versus spending that time prospecting. Second, is their a need or desire for what your business provides? If yes, how well do you understand your perfect customer and where to best capture their attention? If no….come up with a different business or get prepared to take a totally different and more intensive approach in your marketing to create a need/desire for what you offer.

Where do you see yourself in 2 years? 5 years?
In 2 years I see myself running an agency nearing 7 figures and employing brilliant creatives with the freedom to make a massive impact in the real estate space through amazing content across platforms. I also see myself running a school serving and graduating mompreneurs in preparation for their full-time entrepreneurship leap.
In 5 years, I see myself laying the foundations to break into the hospitality industry and begin the dream to establish a hotel.
