Tell us a little about yourself and what you do.
I’m Alicia, but you can call me LiLi! I’m a mom, wife, and serial entrepreneur. I got my start in the event industry as a wedding planner with my company, Brighter Affairs in 2013. As my business grew, so did my creativity. I found myself designing graphic projects for myself and others. My new found love for designing blossomed into a booming graphic and web design business, Brighter Ink Studios.
What inspired you to pursue this area?
After finishing college, I took my talents to Atlanta to pursue a career in the city. Not long after graduation, I realized that my corporate dreams were just that, a dream. There was no way I would ever receive the personal and financial freedom I dreamed of while working for someone else. Soon after Brighter Affairs was born.
My proudest moments have been learning to balance my family and business. Each day I learn something new, I’m no expert but I’m getting there.
What’s next for you?
I can’t wait for my followers and clients to experience my all-new DIY Designer’s, Tool Kit. This Tool-Kit is perfect for any entrepreneur or influencer who wants to create cohesive, attention-grabbing content. It includes tons of design assets, fonts, and templates.
