When Hiring an Event Planner

Hiring an event planner will be one of the most important decisions you make for your event. An event planner is a huge asset to have if you are planning any type of event.
When hiring an event planner for your event, there are a few things you should look for.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
* Passion – They should be passionate about their business and their clients. You should be able to sense the excitement as you talk with them about your event. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
* Organized – All event planners must be organized. They should be able to give you any info you’re asking for at any given time without having to look very hard for it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
* Attention to Detail – Event planners should be able to spot the slightest things that may affect your event. Making sure linens are really clean and chargers are not cracked sometimes takes a keen eye. ⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
* Good communication skills – Event planners must be able to effectively communicate with their clients and their vendors. That includes emails, text messages and phone. They have to relay your vision to the vendors they hire for you. That means they must listen carefully and then be able to communicate the message. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
* Flexible – Things happen so often and very quickly in this business. Clients change their minds and vendors fold. Event planners must be extremely flexible to ensure your event is a successful one. They must be to react quickly and in good spirit to anything that may arise. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
* Resourceful – Being resourceful is a must in this business. Event planners must either have what you need to plan your event or know how to get it. ⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
