LaDonna Marie is an International Multi-Award Winning Bestselling Author, Evangelist, Speaker, Mother of Two, and CEO of Nonprofit Planting Positive Seeds. Her purpose is to empower and encourage others in overcoming obstacles in life.
LaDonna Marie assists individuals in transforming their lives through personal development and implementing resiliency skills with her books and her nonprofit organization. As an Author in 2018, she showcased her book at the Congressional Black Caucus and NAACP’s Authors Pavilion and Winner of International Author of the Year in London, UK.
LaDonna Marie continues to make an impact globally and locally in her community with her nonprofit organization Planting Positive Seeds. In 2018 she had a Season to Cry Out Conference. In 2019 she hosted a Maximizing Your inner strength Retreat for girls ages 13-18.

LM: Tell me a little about you.
LDM: LaDonna Marie started writing to empower and encourage others to overcoming obstacles. As God helped her to heal and overcome her own adversities she was able to create inspirational books that meet readers where they are.

LM: What was the inspiration for the story?
LDM: To help girls and women to heal different areas in their lives.

LM: Why did you choose this title?
LDM: To empower young adults and women to be encouraged on their journey.

LM: What did you learn while writing the book?
LDM: How to choose to be positive.

LM: What’s your favorite part or chapter of the book? Why?
LDM: The first because it talks about the importance of identity.

LM: What were some challenges you experienced while writing this book?
LDM: Just making sure it was in God’s timing.

LM: What is the most surprising thing you discovered while writing your book?
LDM: The joy that I felt to be able to impact lives all over the world.

LM: What do you like to do when you are not writing?
LDM: Podcasting, hanging with my children, and skating.

LM: What advice would you tell someone who aspires to write or be an author?
LDM: To get started writing the manuscript.
