LM: Tell us 
about your business.
DS: I Write books Faith-Based books/Stories and support Others in telling their stories/sharing their testimonies as well. I endeavor to always put God first and live a life of Purpose and Abundance by being a willing vessel in using my God-given gifts, skills, and abilities to make a difference in the lives of others and Glorify God in the earth. I understand that I am blessed to be a blessing and have survived some of life’s struggles and challenges so that my life can be a witness and testimony to someone else that God will never leave you nor forsake you and through His strength, you can overcome anything!
LM: What prompted you to start your business?
DS: A passion for writing and sharing God’s Faithfulness. My desire to support and empower others to live out their God assigned Purpose & Destiny.
LM: Have you always aspired to be an entrepreneur? Why or why not?
DS: No. I’m a Heart-Centered Leader/Business owner which means I would almost do this for free. But I had to come to the realization that God makes room for using the gifts that he has placed within us.
LM: What’s the best part of being an entrepreneur?
DS: Being of Service to others.
LM: What’s the worst part of being an entrepreneur?
DS: Finding your target audience.
LM: Who’s your inspiration? Why?
DS: Anyone who has overcome life’s trials but continues to serve and live to the Glory of God.
LM: List some of your greatest achievements
DS: Raising my son with God’s help as a single mom and unapologetically writing my story.
LM: Name a time when things didn’t go right. What happened and how did you get past it?
DS: I’ve faced many Life Transitions and have had to persevere through hardship and obstacles. I’ve had to rely heavily on God and my Faith to bring me through. I’ve gotten past each by never giving in or giving up!
LM: Where do you see your business in 3 years?
DS: I see my business functioning in its fullness. Zeroing in on my target market and successfully building my tribe, writing many more books and supporting others in doing the same, and thriving in my Wellness Ministry.
LM: What advice would you give a new entrepreneur?
DS: Know your target audience and Write the Vision and Make It Plain!
